ANCHORED
The purpose of Hope Harbor’s Anchored program is to support teens and families as they transition from Hope Harbor’s residential program, to provide non-residential Biblical counseling, and to offer training and resources to parents.
-
Aftercare is the initial transition time from the Hope Harbor residential program to being home full-time. The purpose of Aftercare is to capitalize on the family’s momentum as they implement skills necessary for an effective and healthy home life. Aftercare will be approximately six to nine months in length, depending on individual family needs.
-
Non-residential Biblical counseling provides Spirit-led discipleship, mentoring, and training to the hurting members of Christ’s body. Our desire is that lives and relationships be healed through the application of Biblical truths in peoples’ lives. This can be accomplished by helping a person come to dependence on God and His Word for all circumstances of their lives. The unconditional love of Christ shown to individuals and/or families who are experiencing distress or difficulties allows them to recognize a need and a desire for change in their lives. These sessions can either be in person or virtual.
