"Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21
Hope Harbor is a voluntary placement program ministry offering teenage girls ages 12-17 and their families the opportunity to heal from past hurts and destructive behaviors through a structured residential program that incorporates the entire family with a focus on Jesus Christ in all things.
Basic Program Structure
The Hope Harbor program is structured by movement through five phases with increasing responsibility and privileges in each phase, with parent participation central to each family's program. Expected program length is approximately 12 months, which should be considered when determining if Hope Harbor is the right choice for your family.
Residents and parents both move through phase expectations as they meet their Goals and Objectives, tailored individually to each family during the first month after intake, and reviewed quarterly for program.
We strive to generate an environment where residents can focus on their needs without distraction. Residents do not have cell phones or other personal devices and do not have access to email or social networking. Romantic relationships are prohibited during enrollment, and residents do not have contact with friends until the end of their program. Our staff works with each family individually as residents reintegrate back into their home lives and incorporate the tools they have learned through their healing.
